Forever Young Film Club & SUPAKINO team up for a screening of Gurinder Chadha's hit feel-good movie Bend It Like Beckham: a film which manages to balance substantial themes of family, friendship, culture clash, racism and sexual identity whilst also serving a relatable slice of UK teen life.

Undoubtedly one of the most essential British coming-of-age films from the past twenty years, the joyous performances, iconic 2000s fashion and banging UK pop and Bhangra soundtrack also make it one of the most fun.

Oh, and plenty of turbans in this movie! Special shout-out to the versatile award-winning actor Anupam Kher as the habitually worried but ultimately supportive father in his navy uniform turban. #TurbansSeenOnScreen
